Bishop Peter Fenty leads our Choral Eucharist worship on this Harvest Thanksgiving, October 11, 2026, with Music Director Zacharia Dekker, and Lay Reader and Intercessor Audi Geadah Ogley. The lessons are read by Kirk Hearder (The Book of Deuteronomy 8:7-18) and Carol McLean (Second Corinthians 9:6-15). Zach cantors the verses to Psalm 65, while the congregation responds with, “You crown the year with your goodness, O Lord”, from the George Black setting, ‘In the Midst of the Congregation’. The Gospel is from Luke (17:11-19). Our hymns this Sunday: ‘We Plough the Fields and Scatter’ (Book of Common Praise #258); ‘Come, Ye Thankful People, Come’ (#262); and, as our Recessional, ‘For the Fruit of All Creation’ (#259). During Communion the choir sings the Canticle ‘Deus Misereatur’. All are invited to the hall for refreshments and conversation following Zach’s Postlude.
