Reverend David Bryant leads our Choral Eucharist worship on this Eighteenth Sunday following Pentecost, September 27, 2026, with Music Director Zacharia Dekker, and Lay Reader and Intercessor Susan Schuschu. The lessons are read by Hugh Thompson (The Book of Exodus 17:1-7) and Kamma Thompson (The Letter of Paul to the Philippians 2:1-13). This Sunday the verses to Psalm 78:1-4, 12-16 are cantored by James Hodder, while the congregation responds with, “The Lord split the rocks and gave them drink”, from the George Black setting, ‘In the Midst of the Congregation’. The Gospel is from Matthew (21:23-32). Our hymns this Sunday: ‘Let Us with a Gladsome Mind’ (Book of Common Praise #398); ‘At the Name of Jesus’ (#375); ‘Just As the Deer’ (#540); and, as our Recessional, ‘Seek Ye First’ (#458).
