Bishop Peter Fenty leads our service on this Second Sunday in Easter, April 12, 2026, with Music Director Zacharia Dekker, and Lay Assistant and Intercessor Jim Hodder. The lessons are read by Carol McLean (The Book of Acts 2:14a, 22-32) and Greg Finlayson 1st Letter of Peter 1:3-9). Zach cantors the verses to Psalm 16, while the congregation responds with, “God will not abandon me to the grave”, from the George Black setting, ‘In the Midst of the Congregation’. The Gospel is from John (20:19-31). Our hymns this Sunday: ‘The Day of Resurrection’ (Common Praise #205); ‘Come, Ye Faithful, Raise the Strain’ (#215); ‘One Bread, One Body, One Lord of All’ (#73); as our Recessional, ‘Crown Him with Many Crowns’ (#378). All are invited to the hall for refreshments and conversation following Zach’s Postlude.
