Reverend Canon Stephanie Pellow leads our Choral Eucharist service on this, The Epiphany of Our Lord Sunday, January 4, 2026, with Music Director Zacharia Dekker, and Lay Reader and Intercessor Susan Schuschu. The lessons are read by Greg Finlayson (The Book of Isaiah 60:1-6)) and Christine Cox (The Letter to the Ephesians 3:1-12). The Gospel is from Matthew (2:1-12). Zach cantors the verses to Psalm 72:1-7, 10-14, while the congregation responds with, “All nations shall serve him”, from the George Black setting. Our hymns this Sunday: ‘Once in Royal David’s City’ (Common Praise #123); ‘O Come, All Ye Faithful’ (#118); ‘In the Bleak Midwinter’ (#122); and, as our Recessional, ‘Hark! The Herald Angels Sing’ (#138). Being the first Sunday of the month there is the ‘Litany of Healing’, during which all who wish anointing are invited to the altar rail. All are invited to the hall for refreshments and conversation following Zach’s postlude.
