Reverend Alan Cook leads our Choral Eucharist worship on this Twenty-first Sunday following Pentecost, October 18, 2026, with Music Director Zacharia Dekker, and Lay Reader and Intercessor Kirk Hearder. The lessons are read by James Hodder (The Book of Exodus 33:12-23) and Eubert Isaacs (The Letter of Paul to the Thessalonians 1:1-10). Zach cantors the verses to Psalm 99, while the congregation responds with, “The Lord our God is the Holy one”, from the George Black setting, ‘In the Midst of the Congregation’. The Gospel is from Matthew (22:15-22). Our hymns this Sunday: ‘God of Grace and God of Glory’ (Book of Common Praise #577); ‘Take My Life, and Let It Be’ (#435); ‘Praise to the Lord, the Almighty (#384); and as our Recessional, ‘O for a Thousand Tongues to Sing’ (#306). All are invited to the hall for refreshments and conversation following Zach’s Postlude.
