Reverend Canon Stephanie Pellow leads our Choral Eucharist worship on this Twelfth Sunday following Pentecost, August 16, 2026, with Music Director Zacharia Dekker, and Lay Reader and Intercessor Audi Geadah Ogley. The lessons are read by Hugh Thompson (The Book of Genesis 45:1-15) and Kamma Thompson (The Letter of Paul to the Romans 11:1-2a, 29-32). Zach cantors the verses to Psalm 133, while the congregation responds with, “How good it is for all to live together in unity”, from the George Black setting, ‘In the Midst of the Congregation’. The Gospel is from Matthew (15:21-28). Our hymns this Sunday: ‘We Cannot Measure How You Heal’ (Book of Common Praise #292); ‘Will You Come and Follow Me’ (#430); ‘Now, My Tongue, the Mystery Telling’ (#51); and, as our Recessional, ‘Lord, the Light of Your Love Is Shining’ (#567). All are invited to the hall for refreshments and conversation following Zach’s Postlude.
