Bishop Peter Fenty leads our Choral Eucharist worship on this Twenty-third Sunday in Pentecost, November 16, 2025, with Music Director Zacharia Dekker, and Lay Assistant and Intercessor Jim Hodder. The lessons are read by Jamie Richards (The Book of Isaiah 65:17-25) and Patricia Finlayson (The Letter to the Thessalonians 3:6-13). Zach cantors the verses to the Canticle: ‘Song of Thanksgiving’, while the congregation responds with, “You shall draw water with rejoicing”, from the George Black setting. The Gospel is from Luke (21:5-19). Our hymns this Sunday: ‘Christ Whose Glory Fills the Skies’ (Common Praise #5); ‘O For a Thousand Tongues to Sing’ (#306); ‘We Hail Thee Now, O Jesus’ (#80); and, as our Recessional, ‘Guide Me, O Thou Great Jehovah’ (#565). All are invited to the hall for refreshments and conversation following Zach’s Postlude.
