Reverend Canon Stephanie Pellow leads our Choral Eucharist worship on this Remembrance Sunday, November 9, 2025, with Music Director Zacharia Dekker, and Lay Reader and Intercessor Audi Geadah Ogley. The lessons are read by Kamma Thompson (The Wisdom of Solomon 3:1-9) and Hugh Thompson (1st Letter of Peter 1:3-9). Zach cantors the verses to Psalm 116:1-8, while the congregation responds with, “Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his servants”, from the George Black setting. The Gospel is from John (6:37-40). Our hymns this Sunday: ‘Weary of All Trumpeting’ (Common Praise #582); ‘O God, Our Help in Ages Past’ (#528); and as Recessional, ‘O Day of Peace’ (#573). During Communion the choir sings the Anthem, ‘In Flanders Fields’, by Col. John McRae and Kirkland Adsett.
