Reverend Canon Stephanie Pellow leads our Choral Eucharist worship on this Seventh Sunday in Easter, June 1, 2025. Our Music Director is Zacharia Dekker, and our Lay Reader and Intercessor this week is Kirk Hearder. The lessons are read by Chris Cox (The Book of Acts 16:16-34) and Jim Hodder (Revelation to John 22:12-14, 16-17, 20-21). Zach cantors the verses to Psalm 97, while the congregation responds with, “Rejoice in the Lord, you righteous”, from the George Black setting. The Gospel is from John (17:20-26). Our hymns this Sunday: ‘Let Streams of Living Justice’ (Common Praise #575); ‘Christ Is Made the Sure Foundation’ (#300); ‘Breathe on Me, Breath of God’ (#649); and, ‘What a Friend We Have in Jesus’ (#532). Being the first Sunday of the month there is the Litany of Healing. Those wishing anointing are invited to the altar rail at that point in the service. All are invited to the hall to enjoy conversation and refreshments following Zach’s Postlude.
