Reverend Canon Stephanie Pellow leads our worship on this Fifth Sunday after Pentecost, June 28, 2026, with Music Director Zacharia Dekker, and Lay Assistant and Intercessor Jim Hodder. The lessons are read by Kirk Hearder (The Book of Genesis 22:1-14) and Susan Schuschu (The Letter to the Romans 6:12-23). Zach cantors the verses to Psalm 13, while the congregation responds with, “I will sing to the Lord, for he has dealt with me richly”, from the George Black setting, ‘In the Midst of the Congregation’. The Gospel is from Matthew (10:40-42). Our hymns this Sunday: ‘Teach Me, My God and King’ (Common Praise #496); ‘When I Survey the Wondrous Cross’ (#386); ‘Nearer, My God, to Thee’ (#538); and, as our Recessional, ‘Take Up Your Cross, the Saviour Said’ (#431). All are invited to the hall for refreshments and conversation following Zach’s Postlude.
