Reverend Canon Stephanie Pellow leads our Choral Eucharist worship on this Holy Cross Day, September 14, 2025, with Music Director and Organist Zacharia Dekker, and Lay Reader and Intercessor Audi Geadah Ogley. The lessons are read by Todd Hillhouse (The Book of Numbers 21:4b-9) and Carol McLean (1st Corinthians 1:18-24). Zach cantors the verses to Psalm 96:1-6, while the congregation responds with, “The Lord has made known his victory”, from the George Black setting. The Gospel is from John (3:13-17). Our hymns this Sunday: ‘O God, Beyond All Face and Form’ (Common Praise #412); ‘O Christ, the Great Foundation’ (#524); ‘Of Eternal Love Begotten’ (#132); and, ‘To God Be the Glory (#371). All are invited to the hall for refreshments and conversation following Zach’s Postlude.
