Reverend Canon Stephanie Pellow leads our Choral Eucharist worship on this Ninth Sunday in Pentecost, August 10, 2025, with Guest Organist John Charles, and Lay Reader and Intercessor Susan Schuschu . The lessons are read by Hugh Thompson (The Book of Isaiah 1:1, 10-20) and Kamma Thompson (The Letter to the Hebrews 11:1-3, 8-16). Psalm 50:1-8, 23-24 is read, with the congregation responding with, “Our God will come and not keep silence”, from the George Black setting. The Gospel is from Luke (12:32-40). Our hymns this Sunday: ‘Jesus Shall Reign Where’er the Sun’ (Common Praise #383); ‘The Church of Christ in Every Age’ (#584); ‘Come, Thou Long-expected Jesus’ (#88); and, ‘O God, Our Help in Ages Past’ (#528). All are invited to the hall to enjoy conversation and refreshments following John’s Postlude.
