Bishop Peter Fenty leads our Choral Eucharist worship on this Third Sunday in Lent, March 23, 2025. Our Lay Reader and Intercessor is Susan Schuschu. The lessons are read by Chris Cox (The Book of Isaiah 55:1-9) and Kirk Hearder (The 1st Letter to the Corinthians 10:1-13), and the Gospel is from Luke (13:1-9). Zach cantors the verses to Psalm 63:1-8, while the congregation responds with, “My soul thirsts for you, O God, my God”, from the George Black setting. Our hymns this week: ‘Restore in Us, O God’ (#178 in Common Praise); ‘Tree of Life and Awesome Mystery” (#179); ‘Lord, Whose Love in Humble Service’ (#585); and, ”Giver of the Perfect Gift’ (#180). All are invited to the hall for refreshments and conversation following Zach’s Postlude.
