We are pleased to welcome back Reverend Susanne McKim to lead our Choral Eucharist worship on this Twenty-second Sunday in Pentecost, October 20, 2024, with Music Director Zacharia Dekker, and Lay Reader and Intercessor Susan Schuschu. The lessons are read by Carol McLean (The Book of Job 38:1-7, 34-41) and Kirk Hearder (The Letter to the Hebrews 5:1-10). Zach cantors the verses to Psalm 104: 1-9, 25, 37b, while the congregation responds with, “Lord, how manifold are your works! In wisdom you have made them all,” from the George Black setting. Our hymns this week: ‘Sing Ye Praises to the Father’ (Common Praise #391); ‘Sister, Let Me Be Your Servant’ (#500); ‘Here, Lord, We Take the Broken Bread’ (#65); and, ‘Fight the Good Fight’ (#503). All are invited to the hall for refreshments and conversation following Zach’s Postlude.
