The second of our Lay-led informal Lenten Morning Prayer services from The Book of Common Prayer (BCP) will be held in the sanctuary at 11 AM on Wednesday, February 28.
This is a lay-led service of Morning Prayer from the Book of Common Prayer (BCP), and will occur in the sanctuary of the church at 11 AM on March 6, 13, and 20, with the final one a Taizé Stations of the Cross service at 7 PM on Wednesday, March 27.
Join us in person if you are able—or online—for this Sunday’s Choral Eucharist Service at 10 AM, with Music Director Zacharia Dekker at the organ. All are invited to the hall following the service for fellowship and refreshments.
This week's lay-led Morning Prayer from the Book of Common Prayer (BCP) will be held at 9:30 Wednesday morning, March 13, instead of the usual 11 AM time.
Bishop Fenty returns to lead our Choral Eucharist service and preach at 10 AM this coming Sunday, March 17, with Music Director Zacharia Dekker working his magic at the organ. Bishop Fenty will also be with us for Palm Sunday and our Maundy Thursday service at 7 PM on March 28.

On Wednesday, March 27 at 7 PM St. John's is pleased to resume lay-led Taizé services following our last one in January 2020. This service at 7 PM on Thursday, March 28 will include ritual foot-washing for those who wish, and traditional stripping of the altar. The choir will sing the anthem, 'Into the Woods My Master Went', by Sidney Lanier and Gilbert M. Martin. The service will be recorded rather than live-streamed, then posted following editing.
Join us in person if possible or online for this service at 10 AM with Reverend David Bryant leading our worship and preaching. This service will include a seven-person reading of the Gospel. The choir anthem is, "Into the Woods My Master Went", by Sidney Lanier and Gilbert M. Martin.
