This is the 15th year for this Outreach event in support of Water First, with donations received going towards training of individuals within our Indigenous communities to maintain their clean water systems. This was the idea of Reverend Sheilagh Ashworth (now deceased) at St. Mary Magdalene Anglican Church in Schomberg, where the event takes place.

Our ‘St. John’s Team’ of Jim Hodder (who has participated every year since its inception), Greg Finlayson, and Jamie Richards has enjoyed generous support from our church members, family, and friends, and hopes to do so again this year.

You may hand cash to any one of us. You may also give us a cheque made payable to “The Anglican Church of St. Mary Magdalene”, or you may make an Interac e-transfer to James.Hodder@bell.net. (Don’t forget the dot between Jim’s first and last names.) All donations will receive a tax receipt from St. Mary Magdalene’s in 2026 for any amount given. Thank you for your support!
