Reverend Canon Stephanie Pellow leads our Choral Eucharist worship on this Second Sunday in Lent, March 1, 2026, with Music Director Zacharia Dekker, and Lay Reader and Intercessor Audi Geadah Ogley. The lessons are read by Graham French (The Book of Genesis 12:1-4a) and Patricia Finlayson (The Letter to the Romans 4:1-5, 13-17. The Gospel is from John (3:1-17). Zach cantors the verses to Psalm 121, while the congregation responds with, “The Lord himself watches over you”, from the George Black setting. Our hymns this Sunday: ‘A Spendthrift Lover Is the Lord’ (Common Praise #177); ‘What Does the Lord Require’ (#171); ‘Breathe On Me, Breath of God’ (#649); and as our Recessional, ‘O Christ, the Great Foundation’ (#524). Being the first Sunday of the month, the service includes the ‘Litany of Healing’, during which those wishing anointing are invited to the altar rail. All are invited to the hall for refreshments and conversation following Zach’s postlude.
