Bishop Peter Fenty refreshes for us the story we have heard many times in hopes we will hear something new and meaningful at this time of year. The lead-in music is the first verse of ‘Silent Night’ (Common Praise #119) as sung Christmas morning in our ‘Lessons and Carols’ service, with the final two verses playing at the end of Bishop Peter’s message.
