Bishop Peter Fenty leads our Choral Eucharist worship on this Third Sunday of Advent, December 14, 2025, with Music Director Zacharia Dekker, and Lay Reader and Intercessor Susan Schuschu. The lessons are read by Kirk Hearder (The Book of Isaiah 35:1-10) and Kamma Thompson (The Letter of James 5:7-10). Zach cantors the verses to Psalm 146:4-9, while the congregation responds with, “Come, O Lord, and save us”, from the George Black setting. The Gospel is from Matthew (11:2-11). Our hymns this Sunday: ‘Prepare the Way, O Zion’ (Common Praise #102); ‘”Lo, How a Rose E’re Blooming’ (#117); ‘Jesus, the Joy of Loving Hearts’ (#70); and, as our Recessional, ‘There’s a Voice in the Wilderness ‘ (#106). All are invited to the hall for refreshments and conversation following Zach’s Postlude.
