Reverend Susanne McKim leads our Choral Eucharist worship on this Second Sunday in Easter, April 27, 2025. Our Music Director is Zacharia Dekker, and our Lay Assistant and Intercessor is Jim Hodder. The lessons are read by Greg Finlayson (The Book of Acts 5:27-32) and Patricia Finlayson (Revelations to John 1:4-8). Zach cantors the verses to Psalm 118:14-29, while the congregation responds with, “On this day the Lord has acted; we will rejoice and be glad”, from the George Black setting. The Gospel is from John (20:19-31). Our hymns this Sunday: ‘Christ is Risen’ (Common Praise #223); ‘Come, Ye Faithful, Raise the Strain’ (#215); ‘One Bread, One Body, One Lord of All’ (#73); and, ‘Crown Him with Many Crowns’ (#.378). All are invited to the hall to enjoy conversation and refreshments following Zach’s Postlude.
