We are pleased to welcome back Reverend Canon Stephanie Pellow to lead our Choral Eucharist worship on this Twenty-third Sunday in Pentecost, October 27, 2024, with Music Director Zacharia Dekker, and Lay Assistant and Intercessor Jim Hodder. The lessons are read by Audi Geadah Ogley (The Book of Job 42:1-6, 10-17) and Jamie Richards (The Letter to the Hebrews 7:23-28). Zach cantors the verses to Psalm 34:1-8, 19-22, while the congregation responds with, “Taste and see that the Lord is good; happy are they who trust in him,” from the George Black setting. Our hymns this week: ‘Hail to the Lord’s Anointed’ (Common Praise #101); ‘Will You Come and Follow Me’ (#430); ‘Now, My Tongue, the Mystery Telling’ (#51); and, ‘What a Friend We Have in Jesus’ (#532). All are invited to the hall for refreshments and conversation following Zach’s Postlude.
