We’d love to have you join us: turkey\, potatoes\, gravy\, veggies and rolls\, with pie for dessert. Tickets for quilted wall-hangings/tabletops may also be purchased before dinner\, with both draws after dinner. There are two of these beautiful pieces\, made and donated by congregant Lilli Lockhart\, who also made and donated the quilt raffled at last year’s supper. Tickets are $2 each or 3 for $5. All proceeds go to our Bell Tower rebuild\, as did those from last November’s draw.

DESCRIPTION:This is the 15th year for this Outreach event in support of Water First\, with donations received going towards training of individuals within our Indigenous communities to maintain their clean water systems. This was the idea of Reverend Sheilagh Ashworth (now deceased) at St. Mary Magdalene Anglican Church in Schomberg\, where the event takes place. \nOur ‘St. John’s Team’ of Jim Hodder (who has participated every year since its inception)\, Greg Finlayson\, and Jamie Richards has enjoyed generous support from our church members\, family\, and friends\, and hopes to do so again this year. \nYou may hand cash to any one of us. DESCRIPTION:We are pleased to welcome as this month’s speaker Nicola Ross\, writer\, hiker\, and outdoor enthusiast\, who has published four “Loops and Lattes” books of hiking trails for Caledon\, Halton\, Dufferin\, and (with Amy Darrell) Hamilton and Brant County. Her books are detailed\, and include necessary equipment\, maps to guide the casual or seasoned hiker over the 140 loop routes covered\, and places to have refreshments along the way. Nicola will have books for sale for those interested. The cost for this full and wonderful breakfast is $10.
