SUMMARY:Visitation and Service of Thanksgiving for the Life of Ron Coles October 5 at 12 Noon
DESCRIPTION:Our long-time member and Order of the Diocese of Toronto recipient passed away the morning of Thursday\, September 26. His funeral will be at St. John’s at noon on Saturday\, October 5\, with the service led by Reverend David Bryant and Bishop Peter Fenty. Visitation at St. John’s will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 on Friday\, and 11 am Saturday. Interment in our cemetery on the 7th Line of Mono will be at 3:30 following the reception in our hall. The service will be live-streamed. To watch\, go to our home page\, and below the slider photos and just above the two large purple boxes you will see a clickable link between asterisks that takes you to our YouTube channel\, where you then click on ‘Live’. The recording will later be available on our homepage under the ‘Recent Recordings’ heading.

DESCRIPTION:This Choral Eucharist Service in honour of Charles Weller\, long-serving member of our choir and contributor to and supporter of St. John’s\, will occur at 2 PM this coming Saturday\, January 13 with Reverend David Bryant presiding\, and with Music Director Zacharia Dekker. \nMembers of the Achill Choral Society\, in which Charles was a long-time member\, and for which he served on the Board as Librarian for many years\, will perform John Rutter’s For the Beauty of the Earth\, a favourite of Charles\, under the direction of Nancy Dettbarn\, Collaborative Pianist\, in tribute to Charles’ many years of service. \nA reception will follow in the hall. \n \n

DESCRIPTION:John’s funeral will occur at St. John’s at 2:00 PM this coming Saturday\, January 6\, with Reverend David Bryant officiating. There will be a reception following in the church hall. Arrangements are being made to live-stream this service at Gill’s request. \nThe quickest and easiest way to access the service while it is occurring is by left-clicking on the YouTube logo in the top right corner of the Home page\, below our telephone number (the middle of three small symbols). This will take you directly to the service\, which will show a green St. John’s title screen with a red ‘Live’ button. Left-click on that\, then click on the white arrow ‘go’ button in the middle of the screen. If\, however\, you are not taken directly to the service\, left click on the ‘Live’ heading (third across after ‘Home’ and ‘Videos’)\, and you will then see the service. \nYou can also access the service–but with one additional step–by going to youtube.com\, then typing stjohnseastorangeville into the search bar; left-click on the blue Search button to go to the site\, then click on the service that has the red ‘Live’ button in the corner. \nAfter the service has ended\, in order to access the recording at any time go again to our YouTube channel by either of the methods described above. When there\, select the ‘Live’ heading (rather than ‘Home’ or ‘Videos’)\, and then the service recording with the title\, “Funeral Liturgy for John Fancett”. In a day or so it will also appear in the Recent Recordings column on this Home page. \n
