Bishop Peter Fenty leads our Choral Eucharist worship on this Sixth Sunday in Pentecost, June 30, 2024, with Music Director Zacharia Dekker at the organ, and Lay Reader and Intercessor Kirk Hearder. The lessons are read by Audi Geadah Ogley (The 2nd Book of Samuel 1:1, 17-27) and Graham French (The 2nd Letter to the Corinthians 8:7-15), and the Gospel is from Mark (5:21-43). Zach cantors the verses to Psalm 130, while the congregation responds with, “The Lord shall redeem us from all our sins.”, from the George Black setting. Our hymns this week: Revive Thy Work, O Lord (#454 in Common Praise); God, Who Touchest Earth (#422); One Bread, One Body, One Lord of All (#73); and, For the Healing of the Nations (#576). All are invited to the hall for refreshments and conversation following Zach’s Postlude.
