We welcome back Reverend Susanne McKim to lead our Choral Eucharist worship on this Fourth Sunday in Pentecost, June 16, 2024, with Music Director Zacharia Dekker at the organ, and Lay Reader and Intercessor Susan Schuschu. The lessons are read by Greg Finlayson (The 1st Book of Samuel 15:34-16:13) and Chris Cox (The 2nd Letter to the Corinthians 5:6-10, 14-17), and the Gospel is from Mark (4:26-34). Zach cantors the verses to Psalm 20, while the congregation responds with, “The Lord gives victory to his anointed.”, from the George Black setting. Our hymns this week: God Is Our Fortress and Our Rock (#526 in Common Praise); Jesus, the Very Thought of Thee (#617); Take Up Your Cross, the Saviour Said (#431); and, You Are Salt for the Earth (#502). All are invited to the hall for refreshments and conversation following Zach’s Postlude.
