We welcome Reverend Susanne McKim to lead our Choral Eucharist worship on this Sixth Sunday in the Easter Season, May 5, 2024, with Music Director Zacharia Dekker at the organ, and Lay Reader and Intercessor Susan Schuschu. The lessons are read by Chris Cox (The Book of Acts 10:44-48) and Greg Finlayson (The 1st Letter of John 5:1-6), and the Gospel is from John (15:9-17). Zach sings the verses to Psalm 98, while the congregation responds with, “The Lord has made known his salvation”, from the George Black setting. Our hymns this week: Jesus Shall Reign Where’er the Sun (#383 in Common Praise); Blest Be the Tie That Binds (#507); Communion Hymn – O God, Unseen Yet Ever Near (#52); and, Praise the Lord with the Sound of Trumpet (#309). Being the first Sunday of the month there will be the Litany of Healing with Anointing for those who wish.
