This Week of May 25, 2020 and Upcoming at St. John’s...

The church is closed for worship until further notice. Envelope contributors are encouraged to drop off their envelopes at the office during open hours, above, and to consider the Pre-authorized Giving (PAG) Program if not already a participant.

Weekly Service Videos: In each week’s Friday Knee-Mail there will be a link to a video recording of the readings, psalm, Gospel, homily, Intercessory prayers, and service music for that coming Sunday. Following the ending credits there is a photo collage from various parish events drawn from our archives as the selected hymn ends. These recordings begin with the audio-only inaugural issue for Lent IV, and continue with video recordings from Lent V through Holy Week to Easter VII for May 24. It is intended that while these will continue as long as required, there will not be one for Pentecost Sunday, May 31, but worshippers will instead be directed to the livestream service at St. James Cathedral (, following the links to their Facebook page. Our service videos will return for Trinity Sunday, June 7.

Wardens' Meeting: Wardens will meet on an as-needed basis throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.

Advisory Board: Meetings suspended until further notice.

Visit the RECORDINGS heading on this site for video recordings of past homilies, audio recordings of complete services, and selected hymns. These are also available on our Facebook page (Parish of St. John, East Orangeville).
